The biggest upset of the week belonged to Steele, who took down 337th ranked Steele, 28-14.
Westlake moved up to 151 from 237 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in Southwestern. The Demons were able to make the jump by topping Midpark 39-28.
Brecksville-Broadview Heights's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Tom Tupa threw for 416 and three touchdowns and Tyler Tarnowski had 188 yards receiving. On the ground Carlo Milano chipped in 25 yards. Tim Tupa helped Brecksville-Broadview Heights' passing attack out by catching 10 balls for 136 yards.
The Bees' Tupa and Tupa have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Tupa has thrown for 2663 yards this season, while Tupa, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 56 catches for 898 yards. Jordan Irvin from the Comets leads the league in rushing with 603 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Westlake takes on Berea. Mark Campo's team is in first place, while the Braves are in sixth place.
North Olmsted was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fourth to second in Southwestern. Earlier in the week, the Eagles triumphed over Berea 43-16.
