It was a good run, but the Kaufer Seahawks unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell just short of Ben Bolt by a score of 27-24. Kaufer was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Ben Bolt apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January.
Several Seahawks players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Adrianna Ramirez, who scored five points along with seven rebounds. Ramirez continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Caitlin Medlock, who scored ten points.
Kaufer's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Ben Bolt, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kaufer will face off against Bloomington at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Ben Bolt, they will head out on the road to face off against John Paul II at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
