Westosha Central has gone a perfect 3-0 against Beloit Memorial recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Falcons will look to defend their home field against the Purple Knights at 4:30 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Westosha Central has three straight wins, Beloit Memorial has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Friday, Westosha Central got the win against Wilmot by a conclusive 14-4.

Megan Lampos made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and two runs. Those three RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Westosha Central let Mykenna Sturino and Colbie LeQuesne run wild. Sturino got on base in four of her five plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI, while LeQuesne went 3-for-4 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Those two stolen bases gave Sturino a new career-high. Alex McKinney was another key player, going 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double.
Westosha Central hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. The team has now struck out at least two batters in four consecutive games.
Meanwhile, Beloit Memorial came up short against Union Grove on Thursday, falling 12-2.
Beloit Memorial saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jasmine Smith, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one double.
Beloit Memorial's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14. As for Westosha Central, their victory bumped their record up to 11-6-1.
Beloit Memorial's hitters will have their work cut out for them on Monday. Westosha Central has been retiring batters left and right this season, having averaged 7.2 strikeouts per game. It's a different story for Beloit Memorial, though, as they've been averaging only 2.2 strikeouts. Will Westosha Central keep running through batters, or will the Purple Knights buck the trend?
