The Deary Mustangs will be playing at home against the Timberline Spartans at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Timberline took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Deary, who comes in off a win.
On Tuesday, Deary didn't have too much trouble with Highland at home as they won 47-29. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Deary.
Timberline suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Saturday. They were dealt a 96-38 defeat at the hands of Lakeside. While losing is never fun, Timberline can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 136th, while Lakeside is ranked 32nd).
Deary has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Timberline, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.
Deary didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Timberline in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 44-40 win.
