Lake Mills extended their winning streak to three on Monday, bumping them up to 10-5. They came out on top against the Stoughton Vikings by a score of 7-2. This was payback for the L-Cats, who suffered a 4-3 loss the last time these two teams met.

As for Stoughton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-11. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.0 runs over those games.

For Stoughton's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Givon Storkson, who went 1-for-4 with one triple.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lake Mills will head out to take on Waupun at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors' pitching crew has only allowed 2.1 runs per game this season, so the L-Cats' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Stoughton, they will venture away from home to face off against McFarland at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
