With a playoff win on the line, South Park rose to the challenge on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Keystone Oaks Golden Eagles a 3-0 shutout. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

South Park is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That somehow still isn't as good as their 16-5 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.3 runs over those games. As for Keystone Oaks, their loss dropped their record down to 10-10.

Coming up, South Park will challenge Freeport on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 4, the Yellowjackets 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. Keystone Oaks does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
