Valley is 9-1 against Beauregard since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Valley Rams will host the Beauregard Hornets at 5:30 p.m. That match will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Kayden Dooley and Kam Torbert.

Valley is headed into the contest out to prove that what happened against Troup County on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. 2025 welcomed Valley with a 52-29 loss courtesy of Troup County. The loss continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Tigers: they've now lost nine in a row.

Meanwhile, Beauregard had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.8 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They came out on top against the Golden Tigers by a score of 41-33.

Beauregard's win came from a few key players Valley will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Torbert, who posted 11 points along with eight steals and seven assists. Lindsey Moulton was another key player, going 7 for 16 on her way to 15 points.

Beauregard was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2023.

Beauregard's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 7-3. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.0 points per game. As for Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.

Valley didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Beauregard in their previous meeting back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 42-37 victory. Will Valley repeat their success, or does Beauregard have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
