Taylea West continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 16 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Celeste's points. Kennedy Compton was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 5 rebounds.
Celeste's victory was their seventh straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 53.6 points per game. As for Blue Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-5.
Celeste will head out on the road to face off against Whitewright at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Blue Ridge, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Dodd City at 8:30 a.m. on Thursday. Dodd City presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Blue Ridge in Texas (Dodd City is ranked 115th, while Blue Ridge is ranked 561st).
