Make it six blowout wins for the Santa Anna Mountaineers this season. They blew past Paint Rock 61-24 on the road on Tuesday. The victory was nothing new for Santa Anna as they're now sitting on eight straight.
Jacob Jimenez was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 20 points and ten steals. He hasn't dropped below three steals for five straight games. Another player making a difference was Wyatt Strickland, who almost dropped a double-double on 12 points and nine steals.
Santa Anna has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. As for Paint Rock, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Santa Anna will be playing in front of their home fans against the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Paint Rock, they will head out on the road to square off against the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
