Peyton Bailey Turns in Season-Best Performance
Peyton Bailey produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Tivy to the win on Friday. Bailey threw for 161 yards and three touchdowns while completing 72.7% of his passes, and also rushed for 90 yards and a touchdown on only five carries. The bulk of those rushing yards came from one huge play: a run that gained an incredible 55 yards.
Tivy has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. Bailey and Tivy will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Alamo Heights at 7:00 p.m. on November 1st.

While Tristan Bernard delivered a dominant effort on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Victoria West. Nobody could stop Bernard as he rushed for 89 yards and two touchdowns. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 65 yards.
Victoria West's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-2. Bernard and Victoria West will venture away from home to face off against Harlandale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Hendrix Came Up Big in Boerne's 50-33 Win
The second Boerne player making an appearance here is Hank Hendrix, and for good reason. He threw for 309 yards and three touchdowns while completing 86.4% of his passes.
For the year, Hendrix has thrown 23 touchdowns (and and only 4 pick) while averaging 299.1 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after seven games last season, he was only averaging 105 passing yards per game.
