It was a good run, but Neosho unfortunately witnessed the end of their ten-game winning streak on Tuesday. They lost 14-5 to the Kickapoo Chiefs. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for the Wildcats, who until this matchup were averaging four runs allowed.

Neosho got a good showing from Cooper Charlton, who pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, Neosho saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Drake Jennings, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Another was Brody Crane, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3.

Neosho suffered their first home defeat, dropping their record down to 13-2. As for Kickapoo, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 3-4 record this season.

Neosho is taking a road trip to take on Ozark at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Kickapoo, they will be playing at home against Webb City at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
