Braymer has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will challenge the Higbee Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Braymer has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 528 points over their last eight matchups.
Last Tuesday, Braymer was able to grind out a solid victory over Hale, taking the game 63-51.
Braymer got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Carter Shoe out in front who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Shoe has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Dakota Brandon, who scored 20 points along with five steals.
Meanwhile, Higbee had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.7 points), and they went ahead and made it seven on January 2nd. They blew past Tina-Avalon, posting a 80-29 win at home. Higbee has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 42 points or more this season.
Braymer pushed their record up to 9-5 with that victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.7 points per game. As for Higbee, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1.
Braymer lost to Higbee on the road by a decisive 68-54 margin in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. Can Braymer avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
