Marion lost to Herrin back in February of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Marion Wildcats took their contest with ease, bagging a 77-29 win over the Herrin Tigers. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 21 points or more this season.

Marion's victory was their eighth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-6. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 29 points. As for Herrin, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 12 of their last 14 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-17 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Marion will challenge Carbondale at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Herrin has already played their next contest (against Harrisburg), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
