King Philip Regional has won seven straight games at home, while Attleboro has won seven straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Monday. The Warriors will welcome the Bombardiers at 3:45 p.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (King Philip Regional 1.9, Attleboro 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
King Philip Regional had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt Stoughton on Thursday. The Warriors' pitcher stepped up to hand the Black Knights a 6-0 shutout. The Warriors might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five contests by six runs or more this season.

Not much got past Ryan Higgins, who gave up just four hits and racked up six Ks to keep Stoughton off the board. Higgins has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Johnny Prater was excellent, earning one RBI, one run, and two stolen bases. Another player making a difference was Tommy Gately, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Attleboro ultimately got the result they hoped for on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out North Attleborough 5-4. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bombardiers have posted against the Rocketeers since April 18, 2019.
Nick Daley looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.
On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Michael Huntington, who went 2-for-3 with two triples, two runs, and one stolen base. Those two triples gave him a new career-high. Devin Fagan also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.
Attleboro has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for King Philip Regional, their victory bumped their record up to 12-1.
King Philip Regional came up short against Attleboro in their previous meeting back in May of 2024, falling 6-1. Will the Warriors have more luck at home instead of on the road? Come back here after the game to get an analysis of the match and other baseball content.
