The biggest upset of the week belonged to Menasha, who took down 124th ranked Menasha, 26-24.
Nate Neveau and Shane Hammerseng provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Stevens Point. The connection was good for 78 yards, the longest such play in Valley - South this season.
Oshkosh North's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Neveau threw for 220 and two touchdowns and Hammerseng had 119 yards receiving. On the ground Neveau chipped in 134 yards. Phil Brechlin helped Oshkosh North's passing attack out by catching two balls for 54 yards.
The Spartans' Neveau and Brechlin have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Neveau has thrown for 482 yards this season, while Brechlin, a 6-foot-1 receiver, has 23 catches for 357 yards. Riley Gebelein from Marshfield leads the league in rushing with 386 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Tigers take on Lincoln. Marshfield is currently in second, while the Red Raiders are in fifth.
The Panthers extended the longest winning streak in Valley - South this week by beating Oshkosh North, 45-25. The victory was the fifth in a row for Stevens Point.
