Monrovia is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They walked away with a 5-1 win over Covenant Christian. The victory was some much needed relief for the Bulldogs as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Riley Torres made a splash while hitting and pitching. She tossed two innings while giving up just two earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.
In other batting news, Indianapolis Cardinal Ritter let Addie Galbreath and Maria Soto run wild. Galbreath got on base in four of her five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI, while Soto got on base in both of her plate appearances with four stolen bases and two runs. Those two runs gave Soto a new career-high. Another player making a difference was D'Asia Davis, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three RBI and one run.
