La Joya is 9-1 against the Jaguars since November of 2016, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The La Joya Coyotes will look to defend their home court against the Economedes Jaguars at 6:00 p.m. Both teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for La Joya and eight for the Jaguars.
Last Tuesday, La Joya was beaten by the Bobcats 81-24. La Joya was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 53-15.
Meanwhile, Economedes suffered a rough 57-32 defeat at the hands of the Eagles on Tuesday. Economedes has not had much luck with the Eagles recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
La Joya has not been sharp recently as the team's lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-27 record this season. As for Economedes, they dropped their record down to 7-19 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.
