The Gulliver Prep Raiders will challenge the Bell Eagles at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Gulliver Prep was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Olympian on Monday. The Raiders' pitchers stepped up to hand the Eagles a 13-0 shutout. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Raiders considering their one-run performance the contest before.

Jacob Lombard and Darwin Vargas did most of the damage at the plate: Lombard got on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and two RBI, while Vargas went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double. Lombard is becoming a predictor of Gulliver Prep's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 9-1 (and 4-7 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Landon Sementilli, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs and one RBI.
Gulliver Prep always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .594. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2025.
Meanwhile, Bell waltzed into their matchup on Monday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. Everything went their way against the Cougars as they made off with a 9-1 win.
Vincent Rubio was incredible, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those two runs gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Armando Aguilar, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Gulliver Prep's record now sits at 13-8. As for Bell, their record is now 13-1.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Tuesday. Gulliver Prep hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 1 home runs per game. However, it's not like Bell struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.4 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down. Check MaxPreps after the match for a full breakdown of the game, commentary, and other baseball content.
