East Mountain had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 28-point drubbing they dealt Coronado on Thursday. The East Mountain Timberwolves claimed a resounding 49-21 victory over the Coronado Leopards. The Timberwolves have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine games by 22 points or more this season.

East Mountain's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.3 points over those games. As for Coronado, their loss dropped their record down to 11-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Mountain will take on Cottonwood Classical Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. East Mountain is facing Cottonwood Classical Prep at the right time seeing as Cottonwood Classical Prep is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Coronado, they will square off against Pine Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Pine Hill's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight matchups.
