Choudrant breezed by Downsville at home to the tune of 46-13 on Tuesday. That's another feather in the cap for Choudrant, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Despite the loss, Downsville still got an impressive performance from Piper Bennett, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and five blocks. That was a full 100% of Downsville's points, marking the 14th time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Choudrant's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 14-17. As for Downsville, they are on a 13-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-18.
Choudrant will head out on the road to challenge Claiborne Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Claiborne Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Choudrant in Louisiana (Claiborne Christian is ranked 87th, while Choudrant is ranked 200th). As for Downsville, they will be playing at home against Forest at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Downsville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 17 on Tuesday.
