If Northwood were expecting to get some payback for the 0-35 defeat against Bethesda-Chevy Chase the last time they met, then they were left disappointed. Northwood were given a punishing 20-55 loss at the hands of Bethesda-Chevy Chase. The state rankings had actually given Northwood a slight edge heading into the game, making this hurt that much more.
The loss dropped Northwood's record to 1-3. The victory bumped Bethesda-Chevy Chase's record up to 1-3.
Next week Northwood take on Magruder at 6:30 PM. Both of those teams will be looking for a pick-me-up after considerable defeats in their previous games. As for Bethesda-Chevy Chase, they will face off against Churchill. The teams have set a high bar for this match after stand-out offensive performances in their previous contests.
