Madonna got themselves on the board against Greater Beckley Christian on Saturday, but Greater Beckley Christian never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 10-0 margin over the Crusaders. The Blue Dons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matchups by six runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Koleton Grishkevich, who went 3-for-4 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jacob Lazear, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with four runs, one stolen base, and one double.

The win (which was Madonna's sixth in a row) raised their record to 9-2. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Greater Beckley Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Madonna wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 12-0 win against Catholic Central on the 14th. As for Greater Beckley Christian, they have also already played their next contest, an 11-1 loss against Wahama on the 12th.
