Winter Springs waltzed into their matchup on Monday with four straight wins... but they left with five. Everything went their way against the Forest Lake Academy Panthers as they made off with a 59-33 win. The Bears have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 26 points or more this season.

Winter Springs got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jullianna Woodard out in front who went 5 of 11 en route to 14 points and four steals. Woodard is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last three games she's played. Sydney Hanson was another key player, putting up 11 points and three steals.

Winter Springs was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Forest Lake Academy only racked up seven assists.

Forest Lake Academy lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Alyssa Vazquez, who posted eight points and three steals.

Winter Springs' win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-4. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.5 points per game. As for Forest Lake Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
