Bethany Community entered their tilt with Oak Ridge Military Academy on Wednesday with five consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with six. They blew past the Eagles 14-2. The result was nothing new for the Wolves, who have now won eight matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Jacob Schick was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in ten consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Bethany Community let Ryan Rudd and Jesse Tucker run wild. Rudd scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-3, while Tucker scored three runs and stole five bases. Those three stolen bases gave Rudd a new career-high. Bradyn Brown was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-1.

Bethany Community kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in four consecutive contests.

Bethany Community pushed their record up to 13-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.7 runs on average over those games. As for Oak Ridge Military Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Bethany Community will challenge Atkins at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oak Ridge Military Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Alexander Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
