The Moore Haven Terriers scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Monday. They blew past Marco Island Academy 58-12 at home. That 46 points margin sets a new team best for Moore Haven this season.
Moore Haven found their leader in underclassman Sa'Nyree Myers, who scored 36 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Myers has scored all season. Akeelah Ling was another key contributor, scoring 15 points.
The win makes it two in a row for Moore Haven and bumps their season record up to 6-8. As for Marco Island Academy, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-8 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Moore Haven will take on Glades Day at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Glades Day comes in still looking for their first win of the season. As for Marco Island Academy, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Everglades City at 6:00 p.m. Everglades City comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 24 points in their last six games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
