Mid-Indiana Football recap November 13, 2013
Adding to the longest winning streak in Mid-Indiana Football this week, Eastern Hancock beat Northeastern 57-36. The victory was the 12th in a row for the Royals.
Eastern Hancock took down the Knights 57-36 last week, the largest margin of any game. Spencer Gilbert ran for 331 yards during the win.
Gilbert provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Patrick Echeverria's team topped Northeastern.
Gilbert was a beast in the backfield as the Royals bested Mike Roeder's team.
Brenden Smith was the best wideout in the league this week as Indian Creek lost to Guerin Catholic. Smith racked up 7 receptions for 93 yards. Ethan Whitaker helped Indian Creek's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 40 yards.
6-foot-2 quarterback Chris Johannigman of South Decatur is the league leader in passing yards this season with 1,310. He has also thrown 6 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Smith. The Indian Creek star has 53 catches for 948 yards.
