Javion Saunders was a one-man wrecking crew for Pinecrest as he scored 24 points along with two steals. Elijah Melton was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 11 rebounds and three blocks.
Pinecrest now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Southern Lee, their loss dropped their record down to 17-3.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pinecrest will square off against Lee County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southern Lee, they will head out on the road to challenge Hoke County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
