The Isabella Mustangs entered their tilt with the Woodland Bobcats with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Isabella really took it to Woodland for the full four quarters, racking up a 55-14 victory on the road. With Isabella ahead 41-0 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Elijah Kendrick continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 168 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 passes, while also punching in a touchdown on the ground. Kendrick was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 55 yards. Dre'von Lee was in the mix as well, providing Isabella with two touchdowns.
Isabella's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Woodland, their loss dropped their record down to 3-6.
Isabella will head out on the road to face off against Keith at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Keith is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune. As for Woodland, they will be playing at home against Wadley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Wadley's favor is that they have now posted big point totals in their last three matches.
