The Hershey Panthers lost against the Amherst Broncos back in October of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Hershey was outmatched by Amherst on the road and fell 44-13.
Hershey's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Kaden Thompson, who rushed for 99 yards on only nine carries. Thompson was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 53 yards.
Hershey's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Amherst, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Hershey does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Amherst will head out on the road to face off against Oakland-Craig at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Oakland-Craig is also coming in off of a big victory, so somebody is in for a big reversal of fortune.
