The Henrietta Bearcats will head out on the road to face off against the City View Mustangs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The two teams might be coming in a bit winded given these two teams combined for 928 yards in their previous games.
Henrietta took a loss when they played away from home back in September, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand Valley View a 69-0 shutout. That looming 69-0 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Bearcats yet this season.
Cruse Coleman continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 140 yards and a pair of touchdowns on only eight carries. He didn't just play on offense: he also made five total tackles and defended one pass in addition to snagging an interception. Another player making a difference was Chaden Clark, who threw for 120 yards and three TDs while completing 80% of his passes.
They were just one part of a punishing run game: Henrietta was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 348 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 150 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

Henrietta didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Coleman and Gage McDonald. Coleman is also crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 140 every time he's taken the field this season.
Meanwhile, City View ended up a good deal behind Jacksboro on Friday and lost 49-34. Despite 66 more yards than the Tigers, the Mustangs couldn't convert that extra yardage to scores.
Henrietta will have to contain Malachi Williams as he made an impact in City View's last game. He threw for 296 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 12.9 yards per attempt, and also rushed for 72 yards and one score. Brian Collier helped out on the ground, rushing for 80 yards.
Even if they lost, City View's defensive line still kept up the pressure with four sacks. That dominant display was truly a team effort as four different players picked up one apiece. They received some extra help from Jayden Bradford, whose fumble return for a touchdown made for one of the most unforgettable moments.
Henrietta pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 49.3 points over those games. As for City View, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-2.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Henrietta has been unstoppable on the ground this season, having averaged 256.5 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like City View struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 201 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
Henrietta took a serious blow against City View in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 47-0. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Williams, who rushed for 132 yards and four TDs on only 12 carries, and also threw for 187 yards and one touchdown.
