It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the East Texas Homeschool Sports Chargers had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 54-6 win over the Cobra on the road. The result was nothing new for East Texas Homeschool Sports, who have now won nine contests by 20 points or more so far this season.
Elias Barr was his usual excellent self, rushing for 75 yards and three touchdowns, while also throwing for 20 yards and a touchdown. Connor Pendergast was in the mix as well, providing East Texas Homeschool Sports with two touchdowns.
The win (which was East Texas Homeschool Sports' fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.5 points per game. As for Victoria Cobra HomeSchool, their loss dropped their record down to 11-1.
East Texas Homeschool Sports does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Victoria Cobra HomeSchool also has no future games currently scheduled.
