Lafayette was the 10-7 winner over Bell when they last played one another on March 11th, but their luck changed this time around. Lafayette took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Bell on Thursday. The Hornets' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Lafayette saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Khloe Crotts, who went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Lafayette's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Bell, their record is now 4-7.

Coming up, Lafayette will square off against Branford at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Bell, they will take on Countryside Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Countryside Christian has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 8.7 runs per game on average), something Bell will no doubt try to take advantage of.
