The Jordan Bulldogs had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They enjoyed a cozy 38-21 victory over Bell on Friday. The victory was familiar territory for Jordan who now have eight in a row.
David Sandy continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 226 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 11.3 yards per carry, and also throwing for 63 yards and a touchdown while completing 100% of his passes. Sandy has been hot recently, having posted 100 or more rushing yards the last ten times he's played.
Several Eagles players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Erick Stubbs, who rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown. The team also got some help courtesy of Deven Lopez, who rushed for 80 yards and a touchdown.
Jordan's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-3. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 28 points. As for Bell, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.
Jordan will square off against George Washington Prep at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. George Washington Prep is coming into the contest hot, having won their last three games. Bell does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
