Sonoraville was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Central apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2023.
It was another big night for Khaven Cochran, who scored 20 points along with six rebounds and three steals for Central. The match was Cochran's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Isaiah West, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds.
Sonoraville's loss dropped their record down to 11-6. As for Central, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 14-2.
Sonoraville will head out on the road to face off against Cedartown at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cedartown is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Central, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Southeast Whitfield County at 7:30 p.m. Southeast Whitfield County is hoping to put an end to a five-game streak of away losses.
