Lincoln Charter proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 11) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They skirted past the Community School of Davidson Spartans 6-4. The victory was nothing new for the Eagles as they're now sitting on five straight.
Lincoln Charter got a great performance from Cayden McFalls as he struck out seven batters over 4.1 innings while giving up three earned runs off three hits.
On the hitting side, Lincoln Charter saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evan Myers, who went 2-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Another was Reed Osborne, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Lincoln Charter pushed their record up to 15-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Community School of Davidson, the loss snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-4 record.
