Lookout Valley has not had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team's come up short the last seven times they've met.
Hixson dropped their record down to 3-10 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 18.0 points per game. As for Lookout Valley, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.
Hixson didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against the Yellowjackets when the teams last played back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 40-35 win.
