The D'Hanis Cowboys entered their tilt with the Knippa Crushers with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. D'Hanis came out on top against the Crushers by a score of 41-31 on Saturday. D'Hanis pushed the score to 33-13 by the end of the third, a deficit the Crushers cut but never quite recovered from.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead D'Hanis to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kylee Thompson, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds. Thompson is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Kami Johnson, who scored eight points along with eight steals.
D'Hanis is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 17-9 record this season. As for Knippa, they dropped their record down to 1-15 with that loss, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season.
D'Hanis will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Eagles at 6:00 p.m. Knippa does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
