Despite the loss, Wayne Valley still got an impressive performance from Caden Flower, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Omar Ali, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.
Delbarton's win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-0. As for Wayne Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.
Delbarton will head out on the road to face off against Randolph at 7:00 p.m. on January 3, 2024. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in New Jersey (Randolph is ranked ninth, while Delbarton is ranked 15th). Wayne Valley won't have much time to rest: their next match is against West Morris Central at 5:00 p.m. on December 27th. One thing working in West Morris Central's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests.
