Hot Springs' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kenyon Woods, who rushed for 111 yards on only 14 carries. Woods was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 65 yards. Hot Springs also got help from Justin Washington who showed off his sure hands for 81 receiving yards.
Meanwhile, after some red-hot offensive attacks in their last three contests, Lakeside finally came back down to earth on Friday. They were dealt a 42-7 loss at the hands of Parkview. Lakeside was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-0.
Hot Springs' victory lifted them to 8-1 while Lakeside's loss dropped them down to 6-3.
Keep an eye on the end zone in Friday's game as the pair haven't had much trouble getting there this season. Hot Springs commands a daunting offense this season, having averaged 4.9 touchdowns per game. However, it's not like Lakeside struggles in that department as they've been averaging 4.7 per game. With these two high-octane teams facing off on Friday, fans should be in for an exciting offensive matchup.
