A. Austin was the offensive standout of the match as she scored 14 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. London Elliot was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with two steals.
Carver Vo-Tech's defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 1-9. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 18.8 points per game. As for Poly, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 13-0.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carver Vo-Tech will take on Mergenthaler Vo-Tech at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Poly, they will be playing in front of their home fans against McDonogh at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
