Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Harrison

Harrison had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Becton Wildcats. That's more bragging rights for the Blue Tide, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Harrison easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-17.

Jonathan Petrillo paced Harrison's offense, picking up nine kills. Petrillo got some help from Anas Oufrid and his 11 assists. Gabriel Da Costa and Pedro Quezada kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Harrison's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Becton, they now have a losing record of 1-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Harrison will challenge rival Weehawken on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Becton is set to square off against their familiar foe Lyndhurst at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
