Kim/Branson has enjoyed a four-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will square off against the Centennial Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Centennial took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Kim/Branson, who comes in off a win.
Even though South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] scored an imposing 56 points on Saturday, Kim/Branson still came out on top. Kim/Branson took their game against South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] 64-56.
Kim/Branson got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kolter Cranson out in front who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Trotter Watkins was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with three steals.
Meanwhile, Centennial was the victim of a tough 69-43 defeat at the hands of Sierra Grande on Saturday. Centennial was down 53-33 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.
Kim/Branson has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season. As for Centennial, their loss dropped their record down to 7-6.
Everything went Kim/Branson's way against Centennial when the teams last played back in February of 2022 as Kim/Branson made off with a 51-31 victory. Does Kim/Branson have another victory up their sleeve, or will Centennial turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
