Another player making a difference was  Sophie Gum, who  had 16  digs, eight  kills, five  aces,  and two  blocks.
Calhoun's loss dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Notre Dame, their victory bumped their record up to 6-13.
 Looking ahead, Calhoun will take on St. Marys at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. As for Notre Dame, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  match,  a  2-1  defeat against Ritchie County on the 6th.
