Mesquite extended their postseason success on Monday against Ironwood Ridge. They skirted past the Nighthawks 8-7. Winning may never get old, but the Wildcats sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.
Cooper Leroy made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over four innings while giving up just two earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits.
