Triplains/Brewster fell to Wallace County 53-0 last week, the largest margin of any game. Jace Jorgensen ran for 15 yards in the defeat.
Cheylin led Western Kansas Liberty (8 Man) in scoring this week by notching 66 points on Wheatland-Grinnell. Devon Janicke ran for 236 yards in the win.
Hayden Walker put up the best numbers in passing as Weskan beat Healy/Western Plains. He finished with 8 completions for 157 yards. Walker's favorite target this week was Peter Cress, who caught 3 passes for 69 yards.
Janicke was the best running back in the league this week. Teammate Eddie Frisbie added to the ground attack by rushing for 88 yards.
Janicke was a beast in the backfield as the Cougars bested the Thunderhawks.
Chad Becker was the best receiver in the league this week as Logan lost to Thunder Ridge. Becker racked up 4 receptions for 97 yards.
Leading Western Kansas Liberty (8 Man) in both passing and receiving yards, the Trojans' Brett Pinkerton and Becker have proven to be a lethal combination. Pinkerton has thrown for 337 yards this season, while Becker, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 12 catches for 221 yards. Phillip Bryant from Northern Valley leads the league in rushing with 305 yards.
An important game coming up in the league this week will be when Golden Plains takes on the Coyotes. The Bulldogs are currently in fifth, while Weskan is in first.
Tyler Compton broke off the longest rushing play in the league this week with a 58-yard run against the Eagles. Compton finished the game with 135 yards on the ground as Marc Cowles' team topped Healy/Western Plains.
