Baseball Recap: Perry Extends Winning Streak to Four

Perry had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.7 runs) and they went ahead and made it four on Saturday. They blew past the Pawnee Black Bears 13-2. The result was nothing new for the Maroons, who have now won 11 games by seven runs or more so far this season.

Perry's victory bumped their record up to 14-8. As for Pawnee, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-15.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Perry will head out to challenge Crossings Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Pawnee, they will venture away from home to take on Hominy at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
