Rock Port took care of business in their home opener on Friday (barely). They had just enough and edged the Pattonsburg Panthers out 62-60. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Blue Jays as it put an end to their three-game losing streak dating back to last season.
Brock Holmes went supernova for Rock Port, rushing for 200 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry. Corbyn Jakub was in the mix as well, providing Rock Port with two rushing touchdowns touchdowns.
