Council Grove won the last time they faced Northern Heights and things went their way on Monday too. The Braves blew past the Wildcats 21-4. The result was nothing new for the Braves, who have now won eight games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Council Grove has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That lines up perfectly with their 12-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Northern Heights, their defeat was their 18th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Council Grove will head out to take on Wabaunsee at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northern Heights, they will venture away from home to face off against Lyndon on Thursday.
