Orono had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the seven-goal drubbing they dealt Old Town on Tuesday. The Riots blew past the Coyotes 7-0. The result was nothing new for Orono, who have now won four matches by five goals or more so far this season.

Their offense was hitting Old Town from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Dominic Madore led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

Orono's win bumped their record up to 6-0. As for Old Town, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Orono will challenge George Stevens Academy at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Old Town, they will venture away from home to square off against Caribou at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
