Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Seminole couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 3-0 to the Countryside Cougars on Monday. The Warhawks' loss signaled the end of their six-game winning streak.

Noah Ritchie spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered just two earned (and one unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up six Ks. He has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Seminole saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mack McGinnis, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base.

Seminole's defeat dropped their record down to 21-7. As for Countryside, their victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-8.

While Seminole had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
